Parent Alert to Fire Drills

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The safety of our students and staff is very important to us. One of the ways we maintain safety is by conducting school safety drills.

We are writing to let you know that within the next five school days, Nassau BOCES Barry Tech will hold a fire evacuation safety drill. For more information about these drills, please refer to the Parent Guide or call the school’s main office at 516-622-6816 with any questions.

This school year, in accordance with New York State Education Department (NYSED) requirements, Nassau BOCES will notify you prior to each safety drill. There are 12 emergency drills scheduled each school year.
